...kasihku dalam amat...

on thursday lovely morning, 'melawat kawasan' darlings brightened my day...with sensitive ones, passing around teasers...hehe...wondering when laa will we be together merrier like we used to...ooo...nostalgic...

then, there came about friendship rights...

in answering nozie's query to salwa - my answers below...(gathered from my readings)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

  • Mendoakan kesejahteraan sahabat
  • Tidak menyusah/memberati sahabat
  • Ikhlas dalam menunaikan hak-hak sahabat
indahnya nikmat bersahabat...masyaAllah :) :) :)

...6236 ayat,114 surah,30 juzuk...

alhamdulillah...

i seldom blog regarding my faith...my akidah is a bond in which only He, the Almighty, the Most Merciful knows all...

i'm still learning with unsolved clues...

ya Allah, peliharalah aku sebaik-baiknya...pimpinlah sekalian kekasihMu beserta diriku ke jalan yang lurus, jalan yang Engkau redhai...

i went to a class and after years of "searching", i'm still too too kerdil...subhanallah...

i was nailed when being asked: liza tau tak brape jumlah ayat Quran?!!

i was silent...

Allah, aku terlepas pandang...

ergo, i was there analogically ruling my thoughts...

and i believe i brought back somewhat 'cahaya'...and more to come...insyaAllah...

...chi-i-sa-na se-ka-i...

Day 5 (06/12/2010) – we woke up early today for our not-so-$hopping day…jakarta has many many great malls to offer…but, time permits…

Siti: annual trip laa…datang $hopping ngan spa je…

we had our move to South East Asia’s largest shopping mall – Grand Indonesia…we’re 30 minutes ahead of the opening time…so, we did what tourists do – taking pictures around the mall – in front of the displaying frames of designer boutiques (Burberry, GUCCI) – aii, kat KLCC, tak buat-buat pun…

then, we entered through East Mall entrance…straight-away, we went to the information counter…I asked about the ‘Cultural of the Worlds’ section…ooo, actually it is ‘Crossroads of the World’…I was misinformed…poor website and poor me…

di lantai 3A sampai lantai 5…West Mall yaa…musik airnya mulai jam 12…seterusnya jam 3, 6, 8…juga di West Mall, lantai 5…

2 hours to go…ermm…it’s photo session time…and of course – makan…

we stopped to buy Roti Durian at Durian Dynamic Monthong…the durian cream was OK but the buns were not fluffy…

durian pancake at Pavilion or Midvalley are better…and I love Duren Duren by Big Apple…and Chakri Palace’s durian fritters…best of all: Pulut Durian Family Liza…OK, OK, enough….

to the ‘Crossroads of the World’ – here, we found ourselves enjoying different atmosphere of famous city of the world…refer to the above title – it’s a Small World after all~~~ ohh, and I was surprised that many people deemed the merry song as annoying…kekekekeke… I am keanak-anakan…minta maaflah…

OK, let’s have quick brunch at 11am…we went to the Food Louver – Grand Indonesia’s Food Court area…

we had Sate Khas Senayan Express (Sate Ayam Set + Tahu Pong + Jasmine Tea) = Rp.60000, Bebek Goreng counter (Bebek Goreng + Bebek Mercon Paket+Siomay Campur) = Rp.112000 and drinks (Es Kelapa + Tehbotol) – Rp.29000…3.32 stars…

and here, I drafted my business plan…thanks to Zetti and Siti…

angan-anganku tinggi melangit…hehe…tak punya harta tak mengapa, jangan tak punya hati…

after brunch, we watched and were captivated by a really really superb, magical musical fountain performance…ala-ala opera…fascinating, enchanting, charming, entrancing – all the ing, ing, ing…

we were just speechless with unblinking pair of eyes trying as we might to capture all the gerak tari and the sounds and the lights…

unbelievable…masyaAllah…indah sungguh…Siti managed to get a few snapshots…but,this should be in a video…tak ade rezeki kami…this is high class…5++ stars….

our next stop is the famous Tanah Abang shopping district…

still ‘macet’ on a Monday…

eeeiiii, orang-orang ini tidak bekerjakah?!!kami nak membeli-belah…

Tanah Abang complex is divided into Blok A and Blok B with many floors and both block is joined by a bridge internally (we don’t get to see the bridge from inside the building – you can easily be disoriented: maybe not YOU,it’s just ME – Siti is good with this self-GPS)…

we started with Blok B and we crossed to Blok A and we came back to Blok B…

and there’s a part where on the way returning to Blok B, we came across a Chinese song karaoke competition…hehehe…after days of bisa, iya, enggak – it’s kind of nice to hear different language…

what do we $hop here?!! telekung and batik and kids wear…

long dresses and jubah and kebaya tops – too exclusive and too cantik…

sooo cheap but not suitable laa (kalu beli, tak tau nak pakai ke mane dan adekah akan pakai) – for kahwin purpose, mungkin…

kami hanya mengagumi kehalusan seninya…

out from Blok B of Tanah Abang complex, to our right is a pedestrian street lining with stalls and tokos selling trade goods of umrah and haji stuffs (tasbih beads, many kinds of dates and raisins and nuts, and even the gold ‘kendis’ and Zam Zam water)…

along this street, we also found barang-barang kerajinan pernikahan (wedding souvenirs:fans, mirrors, handkerchiefs, boxes, etc.)…Zetti and Siti sponsored batik tissue holder cases especially for our dear dear F…yeay…

since Tanah Abang can also be considered as a market, we can see street fruit sellers…we bought mata kucing and mangoes…and there’s local delicacies but I never get to taste them…basically, they have the same form of kuehs – karipap and puteri ayu and apam…

common scene in Jakarta is the pushcarts…they called it ‘kaki lima’2 wheels + 1 stopper + 2 legs of the pusher…’kaki lima’ sells street food: Kuih Lekker, Siomay,Bakmie, Bakso, Sate Padang,Tahu Bul Bul, Nasi Kremes, Otak-otak, Martabak, Es Es,etc…

from Tanah Abang, we took a cab to Blok M…now is for kudapan $hopping…alhamdulillah, found 2 shops underground…

and I bought everything on the shelf – but it is still, not enough…

jakarta is not the place…Indonesian snacks come from Lampung or Padang…what do I get?!! – Pisang Sale Kering: 5 packets, Pisang Sale Legit: 6 packets, Pisang Bolen Keju: 1 packet only, Pisang Bolen Asin: 2 packets only, Amplang Bulat: 1 packet only, Inang-inang: 6 packets and Kacang Koro: 3 packets…Kek Lapis Rempah Legit, Brownies and Dodoltidak kejumpaan…minta maaflah…

in the taxi cab that evening, we learned a lot…thanks to the ‘macet’ness, I became chatty instantly…

jakarta has a system to reduce the ‘macet’ by allowing only vehicles with 3 passengers or more to enter major roads in between 3pm to 9pm…but, this has open up opportunities for ‘kedi macet’ who lined up trying their luck to become a ‘tumpangan’…people would pay Rp.10000 – saves a lot since if you’re caught, the minimum compound is Rp.250000…

we learned about ‘janur’ – a coconut-leaves decoration placed at street junction as signage for keramaian (either wedding or khinatan ceremony)…at first, we thought it was a Hinduism practice…ehh, nope – it’s actually a Muslim practice…

and we learned about ‘perdamaian’ – terms for marriage counselling…we discussed about the ‘kabar kacau’selingkuh itu terang, tidak selindung… well, you know, the news of Ariel and Luna Maya and Cut Tari…

our current PM is not glamour here but our pengemudi knows Tun M…

and guess what?!! famous celebrities from Malaysia are characters from Upin & Ipin…not Datuk Siti…I can’t recall what brands but we do have the pictures of Upin & Ipin being the ambassadors for children diapers and an adimis(air minum distillasi)…

we learned about the plate numbers too… alphabet on the left is for city, numbers in the middle are numbers and alphabet(s) on the right are generated or can be customized…to get great plate numbers, starting tender price is Rp.6000000 per number or alphabet…

vehicles registered in Jakarta will have alphabet B on the left…(A: Banteng, D: Bandung, L: Surabaya, AB: Jogjakarta, H: Semarang, DK: Bali, S: Jawa)…and we spotted a black BMW X5 from Bandung with plate number D3W…there’s a famous violinist in Indonesia is using plate number B10LA

ooo…I’ll have to register my ride at Surabaya to claim a plate number of either L12A or L1ZA…hehe…

we reached our hotel around 5pm…alhamdulillah, we managed to recite Doa Awal and Akhir Tahun…salam awal Muharram 1432H to all…

dinner that night was at Planet Hollywood, JakartaAllahuakbar…what a great start of a new year…we went to a club…aduhhh….

here, Zetti ordered Aglio Olio Spaghetti and Siti ordered Chicken Cordon Bleu

me?!! Nasi Ayam Hainan OK…

of all in the listed menu, coming all the way – masihlah saye ni kampung…

nak makan stik, pegilaa Victoria Station – order Wagyu – Medium Rare stylenak Baked Rice, haruslah ke Swensen’s

masuk Planet Hollywood – nasi ayam sudah…puas hati…

sooo pricey…harga Hollywood laa kan…menabur ongkos laa malam itu = Rp.440000…less than 3 stars…

we discovered Zetti and me are better chefs…

to Planet Hollywood , Jakarta: thanks for the knife…hahahahaha…

out of Planet Hollywood, we posed with several celebrities’ hand-prints in cement – Arnold Schwarzenegger’s, Bruce Willis’s, Meg Ryan’s, Dolly Parton’s, Jackie Chan’s, Sylvester Stallone’s, Cher’s, Whoopi Goldberg’s, Kurt Russell’s and many others…

back at the hotel, we asked the concierge to arrange for a Silver Bird to take us to the airport…Silver Bird is a taxi operator offering either a Mercedes Benz C230 or E200 with starting rate of Rp.15000…

we ended up with a Kijang instead for amount of luggage and safety reason…this is Rp.200000…a hikmah of placing hotel deposit with cash…well done…

overall rating now: yaa…jakarta is a 4 stars vacation…

Last Day (07/12/2010) – we woke up at 5am…getting ready and set our journey back home right after Subuh…we hailed the Kijang and off to Airport at 615am…

we reached the terminal around 7am and quickly checked in…we cleared the airport taxes of Rp.150000 per person and paid for excess baggage: Rp.360000 for extra 8kgs…

boarding time is at 8am…we went to have a light breakfast at My Place cafe…we had Calamari Rings, Vegetable Spring Rolls, BBQ Chicken Wings, our leftover birthday cake, Cincau, Hot Latte and Black Coffee (yeay – after 4 non-coffee days…aaarggghhhh….i’m stressed)…

ohh…there was a brassy guy shaving at a nearby table…we captured this…ohh…my…merrily bold…interesting….

we had our final $hopping call at airport shoplot tenants…I got Iris a nice key holder…itu saja…

my total $pending = Rp.2519100…thank you Jakarta…

...where are WE?!!

Kebayoran Baru?!! Blok S (Senopati district)?!! Or Kemang?!!
OK…here’s the story the day before:

we’re actually planning for a rejuvenating spa day…and so, Zetti asked her Jakarta friend to recommend a spa place for us…we’re informed of the Kupu-kupu Spa located in Kemang…as the map of Indonesia is tidak membantu (we can’t locate where is Kemang), we tried on the digital kiosk at the hotel lobby…from there, we spotted 2 spa places: Delta Spa in Kebayoran Baru and Citra Ayu Spa in Kebayoran Lama (Pondok Indah Mall)…with map in hands plus confused faces, a gentleman approached us at the digital kiosk…

Bisa saya bantu enggak?

yeay…thank you…Kebayoran Baru is the place to go…and later, we’ll just stop at any spa place we see along the way…simple…

Day 4 (05/12/2010) – we took a cab and mentioned to the pengemudi to bring us to Kebayoran Baru…it turned out to be that Kebayoran Baru is a big province which consists of different districts (in our case, it’s either Blok R, Blok S or Blok M)…the division system is based on the ruling party…

Kasi tau nama jalannya udah…

Kami enggak tau nama jalannya pak…tapi bukan Blok M…bisa berenti saja di jalanan Kebayoran Baru…

the pengemudi stopped us at a cross junction between Blok R and Blok S…Blok R is Raden Fatah district while Blok S is Senopati district…

we trudged along Blok S (I guess) and spotted Awfully Chocolate outlet…we stopped and bought the signature 1kg moist ‘Only Chocolate’ cake…Zetti insisted the writings on the cake to read: Happy Holidays to Zetti, Aliza & Siti but it came out as ‘ Happy Birthday to Zetti, Aliza & Siti’…hahahahahahahaha…yeay…happy happy happy birthday to us…

after paying Rp.165000 for the cake, we asked the girl behind the counter if she knows any spa place nearby…and she suggested Roger’s which is located across the street from Emilie’s (a French cuisine restaurant next door)…

and guess what?!! Roger’s a yoga class OK…Zetti shook her head…and we laughed…

alhamdulillah, not so long after that, we did found a spa place – Tea Spa

If you are cold, TEA will warm you…
If you are too heated, it will cool you…
If you are depressed, it will cheer you…
If you are excited, it will calm you…
(WE Gladstone, 1865) – British Prime Minister

yeay…we had a good package deal (from top-to-toe pampering) with charges ranging from Rp.200000 until Rp.280000 maximum, which is equivalent to MYR70++…

Siti and me had the Perfect Contour Tea Treatment Package (Full Body Tea Aromatheraphy French Massage + Herbal Tea Body Scrub/Mask/ Wrap/Bath)…

Siti added on Face Massage plus Herbal Tea Hair Spa + Scalp Treatment and me added on Tea Reflexology Back + Shoulder Massage

Zetti chose White Glow Tea Milk Treatment Package (Full Body Tea Aromatheraphy Traditional Massage with Peppermint Oil + Tea Milk Body Scrub/Mask/Wrap/Bath)…and she added on Herbal Tea Hair Spa + Scalp Treatment too (same as Siti)…

our spa session consumed nearly 4 hours…since I added on extra massages, my turn for the steam machine was scheduled after Siti and Zetti’s…the machine became too hot right after Zetti’s session…so, I had my bath and they replaced my body steam to hair treatment…yeay…I got a full package afterall…

why I didn’t take the hair treatment earlier and only both of them opt for it? because I don’t need one...my hair is short and cute and straight and ‘ketombe’less and seumpama dengannya…lalalalala…thank you to Yuli – my masseuse…I enjoyed my session…especially the bath (as Iris doesn’t have a bath tub, and so does my Klang house and Abie’s bathroom too)…

how I wished I had a small jacuzzi

ohh yaa...why am i asking where are we?!! because while sipping hot ginger tea served after my spa treatment, i found out that Tea Spa is located in Kemang at lot no 95 (this was written in a magazine called 'Gaya') and Kupu-kupu Spa is also nearby - in Kemang at lot no 17A (also written in the same magazine)...

the kisah is : a friend suggested us to go to Kemang - we can't locate Kemang on the map - we searched on the kiosk and found Kebayoran Baru - pengemudi dropped us at Blok S - we ended up confused -

now, tell me, where are WE getting our spa treatment?!!

need a serious improvement of the Jakarta map...

we clocked out from Tea Spa around 3pm and spotted a silver Proton Saga BLM parked at the entrance…we took pictures…yes… and actually we did spot several other Malaysian car model – a red Perodua Myvi, a silver Proton Savvy, a black Proton Wira and several white Proton Persona used as a Tarif Bawah Express taxis

and there’s a big ads on Proton Persona with the tagline ‘Tampil Beda’…here, Proton Persona is called Putra Executive

we then walked a few blocks away searching for a makan place…we ended up at Rumah Makan Mang Kabayan(Khas Sunda & Hidangan Laut)…

here, we had plain rice served with Gurame Goreng Kering (the signature Sunda ‘Dancing Fish’) + Tumis Baby Kailan + Sop Ayam + Ayam Bakar + Ayam Goreng + Sambal Mangga Muda

and we ordered 3 different Es for drinks – Es Kelapa Jeruk (lime juice with young coconut slices), Es Campur (shaved ice topped with rose syrup and condensed milk plus pieces of pineapple, avocado, grassjelly, colourful jellies, young coconut slices and selasih seeds)and Es Spesial Mang Kabayan (shaved ice topped with rose syrup and condensed milk with different kinds of fermented glutinous rice – black and colourful and fermented tapioca)…and so far, this was the enakest makan we ever had…priced at Rp.183500…4.82 stars…

after lunch, we decided to head back to our hotel and refreshen up before evening shopping…and we also wanted to place our birthday cake inside the mini bar…

we set out again at 6pm to Semanggi Mall…there, we went up floor to floor…Zetti and Siti had a good bargain at the Polo Ralph Lauren Christmas fair…no $hopping for me (I promised F)…no CDs too for me…I went searching for an old track and several new singles but can’t found them here…we should have go to Ambassador Mall for CDs…had no time…

poor me…

Siti bought batik shirts for her brothers…

me buying for my brothers?!!! naaahhh, they won’t consider wearing it…

we went down back to the ground floor for kids wear and us wear too…Zetti buying for her kids and Siti for her kids…

my kids?!! my 3 nakals?!! oh noo…no $hopping, right?

I was obedient and very disciplined…but, I surrendered to a cute T-shirt with printed ‘Damn, I LOVE milk very much’…bought this for Afnanku…

and later, Siti bought dresses for herself and Zetti too – a stunning, red one and a few more as we stopped whenever we passed by Obral for Rp.25000 s/d Rp.50000

oo oo…what happened to me?!! yaa, right…soooo sorry F…I got myself 3 dresses…

only 3, OK

a navy blue with orange polka dots – Rp.35000, a fancy,rainbowly-coloured all around torn tunic – Rp.60000 and a semi-velvety dark violet blouse – Rp.40000…

at 9pm, we found ourselves settled at Liquid Coffee…Zetti had a hot Caramel Latte and Siti had a hot Hazelnut Latte…I wanted to have a Black Coffee but they don’t have it…

apelaa kedai kopi neh?!! tak ade Kopi ‘O’, macam mane boleh ade kopi-kopi lain?!!

so, I sipped Passion Fruit Black Tea…

merajuk OK, tak mintak kopi, mintak teh terus…and, tak sedap…banned laa this warkop…

best coffee – Gloria Jean’s and Kopitiam Level 4 KLCC…

we arrived at our hotel around 1030pm and we bought pastries at the hotel lobby…soooo cheap…only Rp.8250 including tax for 3 pieces which is equivalent to MYR 0.70 per piece…

keycard problem?!! not anymore…yeay…

although the coffee were not that nice, but it kept Zetti and Siti awake…the three of us watched a Jackie Chan movie that night…and I had my dose of our tempting Awfully Chocolate birthday cake – I ate a big slice of my name…yummy yummylicious…

we slepzZzzt at 2am…3rd day Jakarta overall rating – Oklaa, 4.1 stars now…

...dunia fantaSi kita...

Day 3 (04/12/2010) – second day in Jakarta, early in the morning, we took a cab heading to Blok M Busway Terminal…however, we were advised by our pengemudi to start off from any bus Halte (station)…it’s more safe…reason: pencopet pasti ada tiap-tiap hari, ngambil metro di terminal, langsung mudah, mulai saja di halte, lebih selamat…

and so, he dropped us at Halte Masjid Agung…fee for a one-trip of TransJakarta busway system is fixed at Rp.3500 = MYR1…the whole busway system consists of 8 corridor lines (with 6 operators) covering all sections of Jakarta (North,South, and Central mainly)…in a way, this public transportation system do help to curb the ‘macet’ness since  busway lane at major roads is designated to be accessed by the buses only…

Ingin lancar? Ambil TransJakarta, jangan ambil jalurnya…

OK, our journey to Ancol took us about 1.25 hours…we got to glance at the famous landmark: Monumen Nasional at Central Jakarta…and we saw the street vendors persuading people stucked in jam with all sorts of merchandise ranging from Aqua mineral water and crackers up to impressive inflatables as big as a 3-feet tall bunny armchair for children…these street vendors are mostly from Padang and Sumatera…they came in groups of 20 people and live in the squatter area for 1 to 2 months and returned back when another group came to replace them…and the cycle goes on…i think the same concept applies in Malaysia…can’t blame them…but the gap is soooo un’sangka’rable…a pondok buruk can stand nicely next to a guarded territory of a 5-storey mansion…

hoo…siapa jiran loe?!!

we reached Halte Ancol at around 1030am…from there, we had to pay for the Ancol admission (same concept as Sentosa Island in Singapore)…it’s Rp.9500 per person…

entering Ancol, you get the option as to where you would want to go…the attractions include Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (cultural village), Underwater World, Safari, Dunia Fantasi (theme park), beaches, and national parks…but first, we need to have our tourist hats...lalalalalalalala...it costs us Rp.30000 each...

we went straight to DuFan and pay an admission fee of Rp.150000 per person…yeay…

at the barry gate after slotting our DuFan entry ticket, the staff stamped a temporary inked DuFan tattoo on our hands…that will be used to access all the offered wahanas (rides)…

our first ride is Biang La La (kincir resaksa / giant Ferris wheel) – a 6 rounds ride and you get to see the whole of DuFan…from Biang La La, we walked towards IstaBon (istana boneka / it's a Small World)...there, we realized there are just sooo many many interesting places we've yet to go...

then, we nestled into Poci-Poci (cangkir berputar / tea cup party)...feeling a little bit dizzy do not stop us from having the log ride Niagara-gara...during the last plunge, Zetti instructed: jage topi!!! and she managed to get a grip on hers as she sat in the front...Siti in the middle: topi kite melayang!!! while me at the back: alah, kite punye pun!!! and all of these conversations were captured by the wahana's camera...hahahahahahaha...we bought our picture...thank you...

poor us, we then move on to the shooting range Acu Jitu - more of wanted to remove the sadness of having to sacrifice our lovely hats...alas, no thrill at all because it was a silent rifle and we're like randomly shooting aimlessly at blinking green lights...and it was sooooo long...penat sia-sia...again, poor us for Rp.30000...

we went next door to Rumah Jahil (mirror maze)...thinking back, it was scary if you're found trapped in the maze facing your own reflections all around you...uuuuu...the key is to touch the mirror walls and keep moving...and there's one section where the mirror walls are rotating...alhamdulillah, we're out from there safe and sound...

next, we stopped for lunch at Rumah Makan Ayam Bekakak Cinde Laras...Zetti and Siti had the Pecel Lele Paket Set while me opted for Bebek Bakar Paket Set...Es Kelapa Bulat for Zetti and Siti and me ordered Jus Alpukat...enak...3.8 stars...priced at Rp.108000...

after lunch, we rode the Ombang-Ambing (spinning crown)...the big crown was twisted somewhat like when you're playing spinning coin and the coin eventually turn itself to come to a stop...when the crown was twisted forward, you got to enjoy the laziness but once it was spun reversibly, then the dizzy fun begins...ohh, bile nak stop neh?!!

then, we queued for Alap-Alap (corkscrew roller coaster)...a 6 rounds gek-gek-gek laughing coasters...after Alap-Alap, we rocked ourselves with Ontang-Anting (flying swing) - my favourite wahana...it was nearly 2pm at that time, so, we decided to have a break at the nearby Musholla next to a lake...we had our prayers and sat by the lake later to eat Singkong crackers (singkong is a kind of tapioca)...

aku suka singkong, kau suka keju...ooo...oooo~~~

what about Singkong Keju (cheese-flavoured singkong crackers) then?!! but, i know there's no such thing as Keju Singkong (singkong-flavoured cheese)...in my conclusion, singkong wins...yeay...

next, we had our wet wahana which is the Arung Jeram (flume ride)...at the start of the wahana, we've already got a big splash...i lose the feelings until we came to the photo spot where Zetti was the overall champion...sooo high-spirited...yeay..we bought this picture too...

then, we hopped onto Raja Wali (swinging bird) - 4th dizzy machines of the day...we continued to the Infrared Dome for Perang Bintang (Star Wars shooting game)...a better experience with sound systems...yeay...but in the middle of the war, Siti's gun went dead for a while...

out from Perang Bintang, we followed the crowd waiting for the most anticipated wahana: the screening of 'Journey to the Centre of the Earth' at the DuFan 3D Theatre Simulation Hall...here, we waited for 30 minutes OK...but, it was worth it...we got to choose our best seats as when our turns came by, we've come in front of the lines instead of being fillers in the previous slot if we're the back zaps...

finally, our last ride before exiting DuFan is Turangga-Rangga (merry go round)...this is where Siti and me listened merrily to the Dufan theme song...

ma-ri-lah kita per-gi sekelu-ar-ga
un-tuk da-pat puas baha-gi-a
dalam duni-a yang mempe-sona
Du-nia Fantasi kita~~~

bye-bye DuFan...we missed Kicir-Kicir, Pontang-Pontang and Belana Kera (these wahanas were under maintenance)...and we missed killer rides (Kora-Kora: swinging ship, Hysteria, Tornado and Halilintar:3 loops roller coaster) due to long queues...and we missed children' rides (Gajah Diebug, Burung Tempur, Bola Gelo, bumper cars and bumper boats)...

out from DuFan, we stopped to replace back our missing hats...hehe...

we then took the bus to Halte Harmoni and walked to Semanggi Mall...we had our dinner at Es Teler 77...Bakso Super Set for me, Bakmie Pedas Set for Zetti and Nasi Ayam Set for Siti and we ordered 1 Es Teler ( a concoction of santan in shaved ice with pieces of jackfruit, avocado, mango, young coconut slice and cendol)...a so so enak...Rp.94000...2.76 stars...

we're happily happily exhausted...we took a cab back to hotel, which is we don't even realize only 5 minutes walking distance...OKlaa, had to pay the minimum tarif = Rp.10000...
keycard problem, again?!! now, the hotel staff recognized us - Kamar 1028 yaa...

zZzzZzzzzz around 11pm too...second day in jakarta overall rating: increase to 3.43 stars...yeay...

...seperti bintang-bintang...

hilang ditelan malam
bagai harus melangkah tanpa kutahu arah
lepaskan aku dari derita tak bertepi
saat kau tak di sini

seperti dedaunan berjatuhan di taman
bagaikan debur ombak mampu pecahkan karang

lepaskan aku dari derita tak berakhir
saat kau tak di sini
saat kau tak ada atau kau tak di sini
terpenjara sepi
kunikmati sendiri

tak terhitung waktu 'tuk melupakanmu

aku tak pernah bisa
aku tak pernah bisa

...where LOVE takes me to = jakarta...

a part of me will always be with you~~~

Day 1 (02/12/2010) - me went to see my CMC friend...he gasped and cross-examined and linked-in and...finally...blurted out...

liza, nothing uncommon...but, physically, please lose 8kgs for you...in 3 months...and we'll take it from there...

me still stirs...

i nak gi main-main...can i ride roller coasters?!!

don't forget your mementos and you'll be fine...

yeay...happily went back and packing my things...
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Abie dropped me off at Taman Melati LRT station around 831pm...i reached KL Sentral and took the second last Skybus to LCCT...

last call to mama and messaging several darlings...

found myself at LCCT nearly 1043pm and i waited for Siti outside, reading at the waiting area next to Coffee Bean...Siti buzzed me at 1107pm...we made our way to have a light supper at Marrybrown's (not so crowded - comfortable enough for easy rest and chat)...

at 1152pm, both of us surrendered ourselves at the prayer room...we're lucky to have been permitted to stay there by the cleaner lady who holds the key...thanks Kak Maz...jasamu kami kenang...
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Day 2 (03/12/2010) - around 514am, Zetti joined us and we got checked in at Counter R after confusing ourselves scanning our baggage at S and T location...queing at Counter R, Siti yang tulus have been diramahi by a white-rimmed specky 'makcik' who's sending back her end of contract housemaid...

nanti kamu ikut mereka, ya?!! di mana nak ambil bagasi, surat ini bagi pada pegawai imigresen sana, bla bla bla...

'makcik' advised her maid and smiled at us, especially to Siti, who nodded...we smiled back...

that 'makcik's maid's turn for dropping off baggage was just before us...they then waited for us to settle our check in procedures... later, that 'makcik' waved and left her maid to us...

aduuu...we let Siti does her job...

masuk, gatenya di sana ya...

bye bye, maid...

ya Allah, please don't let the maid follow us...we want to makan...

yeay, that maid went her separate way, straight to the boarding gate...

the three of us - McDonald's for breakfast...and we had our Subuh prayer just before boarding time at 7am...
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Zetti, Siti and me arrived safely at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport at 828am (Indonesian time)...it was a 2-hour flight journey with AK380...alhamdulillah...

first thing we did - to the money changer and became instant millionaires...yeay...

next, Zetti and Siti went to the Loket (lorong tiket) of XTrans (charter bus service to hotel)...they left me at the sitting area guarding our baggage...a uniformed pria came and accompanied me shortly...

aaiii...Aliza ni baru sekejap kene tinggal...

alah...tak keren pun...dah jom...

from the way i dressed, that guy thought i came from his hometown - Banteng...(saje je kot niii)

saya enggak paham kamu ngomong apa...saya orang Malesia...

our charter bus was scheduled at 915am...since only me who had a heavy breakfast, we decided to stop at one of the local warkop (warung kopi) for Zetti and Siti to alas perut...we went to Koufu Food Mall where Siti ordered Es Jeruk (lime juice) and Zetti had an apple juice (a disaster: different in colour, texture and taste - must have been an over-ripened apple)...i sipped nothing...sebu lah...

and starting from there, me officially our pool Rp. caretaker...

it took us 75 minutes to reach Kartika Chandra Hotel due to jakarta's madness 'macet'...as expected, check-in time will be at 12pm..we left our baggage at the counter and went out to lunch...

Siti suggested 'Dapoe Sunda' and our hotel manager said the nearest branch is located in Pancoran...we took a cab and the pengemudi didn't know the exact location...he dropped us at 'Rumah Makan Sederhana Bintaro' upon his recommendation...all went well when you're hungry...Masakan Padang...nice!!! here, we had plain rice + Gule Nangko + Tempe/Kentang Goreng Cabe Ijo + Emping Malinjo + Hati/Pedal Goreng + Tunjang Lemak + Ayam Stim + Pucuk Ubi Rebus with Teh 'O' panas...all for Rp.77000...enak...4.3 stars...
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
after lunch, we walked the distance of KLCC to Ampang Park and reached ourselves to Taman Makam Pahlawan - our first photo session...here, again the locals mistook us as locals too...hey, we're wisatas on liburan laa...in Malaysia, it's easy to distinguish we and they...hurmmm...

we took a few snapshots and ran from the guard who's been warning Siti and me...the sun was scorching hot...we took a cab back to check-in at our hotel...we went out again at 230pm...
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
our first mall visit in jakarta was to fX lifestyle Xntre in Semanggi...with 2 objectives - to experience Atmostfear and to get info at IVC (Indonesia Visitors Centre) booth...

Atmostfear is the 1st indoor slide from 7th floor descending to 3rd floor...it is a 7 seconds thrill ride (unlimited) + certificate of accomplishment (with your photo)...worth Rp.100000 per pax on weekdays...we came on Friday...yeay...itulah hikmahnya...on weekends, you'll be charged another Rp.50000...

Atmostfear was awesome...Zetti and Siti had unstoppable laughs - just for Siti kejung with ter'lungkup' helmet at the end of the slide way out...hahahahahahaha...and still managed to pose when camera flashes towards her...oh, my girl...and later, both of them discovered - when i laugh heartily, i laugh and cried at the same time...

at IVC booth, we were given The Official Free Map of Indonesia (the one i've already took at our hotel - meaning: Zetti and me already studied it)...

we told the IVC officers that we're going to Ancol tomorrow and we hope to get the best route in order to avoid 'macet' on weekend...we would like to try the Transjakarta bus system...how do we go about it?!! the officers argued among themselves...they did finally reached to a conclusion but it confused us further...

tak apalah...terima kasih yaa...

Zetti : map ni tak betullah...kalu macam ni, kite lagi pandai walaupun tak pandai bace map sebenanye...kite dah tande pun kan nak naik kat mane...

me: betul 3x...tulaa i cakap, i dah cube buat homework...website die x membantu...x semue bende masuk dalam map...dah laa memang lemah bace map...tak ape...esok kite ikut care kite...

we then asked for best makan place suggestion for our dinner...

sini aja kok...dicubain di lantai 5 atau lantai bawah...

we went around surveying and found out that the food court was not enticing enough...

frustrated with IVC, we left to go and search for a bus stop...since it was drizzling, we took a shelter and pretended that we're guests of Hotel Atlet Century Park...there, we asked for a cab...

we went to Bakmi G.M. (Gadjah Mada) branch situated near Blok M Square Mall...here, we had a taste of Bandung...we ordered Bakmie Goreng, Bakso GM Komplit, Nasi Ayam Smoked (S), Siomay Ayam, Siomay Goreng, Tehbotol, Teh Celup and Teh Es Lemon...juga enak...priced at Rp.107000...

before we went back to hotel, we stopped at a nearby Carrefour outlet to get kudapan - Red Guava Juice Drink + Roti Pandan + Pisang Sale + Keropok Singkong + Aqua Mineral Water...

later that night, while waiting for our room to be opened (we had keycard problem), me showed to Zetti...

lorr, map ni baru siap 13 Oktober 2010 aritu...IVC booth pun baru satu tu aje...yg lain2 sume coming soon rupenye...jadinye officer2 die same2 belajar macam kite laa jugak...dimaafkanlah...

first jakarta day overall rating - 3 stars answering F's how's trip? sms to Zetti...we dozZzzed off nearly 11pm...
