...my weekend woes...

actually, it feels more like cold anger...and quite depressing as i can't blindly accused people...

it all started yesterday evening when abah brought ryan for a bath...abah later told me that ryan has been scratched...one straight, long line across driver's side sideskirt...

abah was quite surprised when i told him that i hadn't noticed of all those ryan's bruises before until he eventually told me so...i was indeed upset as i really can't recall what has caused the scars...ryan, i'm sorry...i blamed myself for being careless...i should have realised them way way earlier if i don't neglect you for almost a week...

the dust has covered up ryan's body and that makes me barely unaware of his pain...

it was a minor and unnoticeable...somehow once you know that it's there, it's there...aargghhh....

i can't simply touch up the skirt as told by my Honda service technician...ryan is white...

abah figured out that maybe ryan got skidded with its tyre when i did the alignment & balancing...i was not there to witness the whole operation and abah told me to get the answers from the technician...i declined abah's suggestion saying that nobody would ever admit his wrongdoings...it was my fault to allow it to happen, right?next time, i'll be extra careful and won't simply trust others...

to cure my sadness, i went out with mama...i bought new black, peep toe heels for me...mama bought new sandals too...

next, i bought a new cleanser and manicure kit...

then, we went to my favourite place - bookshop...i bought 5 new titles...yeay...

the plan was actually to get a birthday present for Afif...be it a big motorbike or a guitar...but, we found nothing interesting...i'll get it from elsewhere then or maybe in KL laa...

the next best thing was that i found myself buying 2 sets of 20-pcs dinner ware...hahaha...with the thinking of in 15 years time, i would be using them to serve my happy family...currently, i stored them under my bed...

isn't it nice?!! (see the plate)

...weekend fun from genting to broadway...

it's the time of year where PMU (my company) shows the appreciation towards family members...we had our annual gathering again at the same venue as last year - genting view resort...the difference this time was that i became active again by becoming the registration exco leader...

this was our 3rd annual gathering actually...and i can bet most senior people still remember the 1st annual gathering in taman wetland, putrajaya...that was the greatest yet...i was the vice chairman :) the committee this year may have improve in certain areas but we're lacking mostly due to budget constraint as the number of PMU staff increases...nonetheless, we still had fun...so do my niece and nephew...

i went to genting view resort a day earlier together with Anna and 'Aina...the committee were given 2 apartments...on that pre-event night, we were busy preparing goodie bags to be handed out during registration...

come the day of the awaited event, my registration team were the busiest of all people...alhamdulillah...everything went smoothly...yeay...

welcoming 'guess it right' contest for this year was to guess the weight of the styrofoam beads pillow...it was a good crowd-pullers early in the morning...

as i was in charge of the registration process, me and my team patiently waited until the 2-hours holding time...we closed our counters at 1030am...

then, it was time for me to hit the carnival and join in the fun...i'm glad that i got so many lovely friends to tend to 'Aina & iman while i'm away...thanks darlings - Mai, As, Pipah, FarrahIz...

thanks to Yati and Etai as well for bringing Iman...

i only managed to participate in one game - Roll the Dice...it was a simple game involving a giant dice rolled by the 1st member of the team...the whole team then moves according to the number...if it happens to be an even number, then we move forward and vice versa...my Blue team got second place...yeay...i'm happy really as the prize was a black, square cushion from IKEA...
although we started quite late - nearly around 915am, but we finished the whole event by 1pm...kudos to the event organizer led by Baskaran...they sure know their roles...and by the end of the day, everyone seems pleased and happy...it shows...and that makes me satisfied and enjoyed being the committee...

i left genting view resort after Zohor and went back to Klang as Abema and family went there as well...

early sunday morning, i reached no14 at around 10am...i only had a quick rest before i went to meet up with Lee Jean for our role as volunteer usherers for the PETRONITA's charity musical event - 'Dansing Thru Broadway' held at Auditorium DBKL...

thanks Lee Jean - i really enjoyed the show...it was a light ensemble of sooooo many many musical and plays and theatre series blended into one stage show...there were just sooo much of my favourite scenes in there coming from Grease, Mary Poppins, Oliver, Annie, Phantom of the Opera...ohhh...i just love it....and the cast were soooo cute...i'm surely looking forward for much more opportunities to come...

...late lunch in boston...

Last Sunday, I went out with Harni to Jusco AU2…It was Harni’s first time ever been here while mine would be a second visit…We called up Azwa to join us as she’s temporarily single with Alan not in tow at the moment…

Our day started with a late lunch around 230pm at Boston Restaurant serving Oriental Fusion cuisine…We had a really great time here…We sat at the outside balcony setting under a decorative chandelier…The friendly waiter actually had advised us on the hot atmosphere…Ermmm…That’s small matter…Once our meals came, everyone seems to forget already…Ohh yaa, we admired our drinking jars…Unique and so cool…It looks like an average jam jars with a side handle…

So, what are we having for lunch?! Jengjengjeng…I had a Steamed Fish Fillet with Pineapple Cheese Baked Rice…Azwa had the same as mine except that she’s opting for Chicken Fillet fillings…
Harni ordered the French Fried Rice…
Our baked rice tasted heavenly whereas Harni’s fried rice a little bit bland – not spicy kind…Maybe it was due to suit its French style…

For our drinks, I picked to try this interesting cocktail called Blue Curracao with Lemon…It had a sparkling taste a little bit like Sprite…We figured out that this might as well be the same drinks offered by McDonalds during one of their promotion…
Azwa had a Fresh Apple Juice...

And Harni went for a hot Chocolate since she was experiencing a sudden flu…
We were all happily satisfied…Overall rating for Boston: 3.83 stars…

After that, we went window shopping…Harni went looking for new sandals…I found new purple wedge with glittering flip-flop style strap…Alas, my size 9 was already out of stock :(

Next, we went surveying the room rates for a 2-hrs session at the Soundbox Karaoke outlet…Quite reasonable…Hence, we’ll find our time there someday…

There’s also a Dermalogica outlet whereby my housemates can easily done their facial routine…Next to it is a manicure, pedicure salon…Harni seems interested with the Happy Hours package I guess…But that gratification can be delayed…

We then entered the My Bed store…Here, we fell in love instantly at the displayed bedroom furnishings especially Harni who is planning to complete her home in Seri Kembangan prior to her moving in…Azwa bought a baby hooded towel…This will serve as a good motivation…Way to go, Azwa!

We ended our evening with grocery shopping at the Jusco store…I ended up purchasing a new nail buffer kit…

...my valentine's day activities...

Ehh...NO…I don’t actually celebrate the occasion…

FYI, this year’s Valentine’s day was fully-packed with agendas associating me with my officemates – especially the DGAs (Diva Gedix Angels)…

I started my day with 2009’s BAKTI’s first session at SJK (T) Saraswathy…Then, I took my leave earlier at 940am since I’ve promised to met up with the convoy of DGAs at R&R Seremban…

Where are we going haa?!! It was a 5 states tour: KL-Selangor-N9-Melaka-Johor…Lalalalala...

We’re actually attending Etty’s wedding reception in Segamat…Etty used to be a practical student at my department back in 2007…Now, she’s joining me doing RE-thingy and eventually she’s one of the dear angels…

Our convoy consists of 5 cars – Ryan, Yati’s JeLlyFish, Syim’s BJD, Teefa’s WQC and Pak Latif’s QCM…There were 13 of us altogether – me, Yati, Anna, Zarith, Nadh, Syim, Niza, Ahya, Teefa, Dewi, As, Pak Latif & Angen…At R&R Seremban, we incidentally bumped into Yulie and her siblings heading to the same destination…

Yati leads the way choosing the inside route of Tampin roads towards Segamat town…We arrived nearly 130pm…Luckily, the ‘bersanding’ ceremony had not started yet…

We saved our seats at two tables at the far end of the hall waiting for Etty and her husband walking hand-in-hand to the wedding dais up on the stage…

The couple made their grand entrance at around 215pm…

Then, the ‘bersanding’ event began…I went for the ‘menepung tawar’ session congratulating Etty on her new status…We had our photo session at the dais with the lovely couple and left at nearly 240pm…It was Pak Latif’s turn to lead the way now as Yati planned to visit her granddad in Segamat…

We stopped at Masjid Jamek Segamat to perform our prayers…Later, Pak Latif suggested treating the DGAs with Segamat durians…Yeay…
We continued our journey to the PLUS Highway taking the Tangkak route…We passed the Tangkak town and along the way, we witnessed the magnificent Gunung Ledang…

We stopped at another R&R (not sure which one) where we eventually split with Pak Latif and Teefa…This left us with two cars with 7 lovely angels deciding to visit Mukmin at SJMC…
Mukmin was admitted to SJMC on Friday evening after he’s been diagnosed with Hernia…He successfully undergone a minor surgery early that morning…We reached SJMC around 715pm and stayed until 8pm…We even had our prayers at the SJMC’s prayer room…

To Mukmin, wish you are getting better day by day…Ohh yaa, he even nicknamed himself as ‘Herny Man’…hahaha…
Later, I sent Anna and Nadh back to Kerinchi…Ahya and Niza later shifted from Syim’s to Ryan…Next, I sent both of them to Wangsa Maju LRT station where Ahya parked her car there…

Then, I went to have my late dinner with Zarith…We went to have Fried Kuey Teow at Taman Ibu Kota…I dropped my last passenger of the day at Kenari Apartment, Taman Melati…

Finally, I safely reached No14 almost 1030pm…By that time, I was too exhausted…I took a quick shower and straight away went to bed…End of story…

Hello people…I’ve been quite tight up for the past 2 weeks…Here goes – just to sum it all up…

31st January 2009 – My cousin Sazlan’s engagement to Ms Syukuriah in Kuala Terengganu…Congratulations to both of you…

1st February 2009 – My dear Maisarah’s engagement to Mr Najmie in Kg Bukit Ubi, Kuantan…Congratulations sweetie…Thanks to Asz as well for spending time showing me around town…I had a really great time shopping in East Coast mall, savouring the Fried Seafood (Colek) in Kg Penara, best Cendol Kacang near Giant Kuantan and Yes Boss Fried Kuey Teow near the City Mosque…

4th February 2009 – Join in the fun of PETRONAS Cancer Campaign 2009…I donated 1 pint of my O+ blood…In the evening, I went for the Charity Walk + Treasure Hunt together with my officemates + Beebee + Lee Jean…My team won the Treasure Hunt and we received Datuk Lat’s ‘The Story of Tuah & Zeto’ comic book…Tuah & Zeto are PETRONAS HSE’s mascots…At the end of the day, I even managed to get the signatures from Datuk Lat himself and also from Linda Onn…
5th February 2009 – I attended PETRONAS ICT User Conference held at Level 3, KL Convention Centre…Met Melissa (Etai’s housemate) there…I stayed back afterwards just to meet my mentor, Pn Rashidah Karim…She eventually was one of the speaker in the conference delivering a presentation entitled ‘ Information & Knowledge Communication Requirements in PETRONAS Carigali.’

7th February 2009 – It was Pero’s glorious wedding reception in Kuantan…Wishing both of you love of a lifetime…

8th February 2009 – I went back to Klang bringing Iman & Afif…In the evening, we suddenly bumped into Beebee and her family at Carrefour Klang…Beebee invited us to a makan-makan at her aunt’s place in Taman Bunga Melur…It was to celebrate the opening of her aunt & mum’s restaurant as well as early birthday celebration for Beebee…

hemmm…actually during my time in UTP, there seems to be 2 completely different group extremist…one is the Rakan Masjid…and the other is the global one – MPPUTP…both will organize different events for different occasions and it is subject to the students whether to get involved or not…as for me, I’m quite neutral…there are times I enjoy the Huha events…there are also times I went for the spiritual related events…as long as I had a great company of friends and we were happy – that’s all matters…
