...my long literature breakdown...

yeay...finally after nearly 1-month, i'm now trying my best getting back the momentum to write again...i guess it's the time factor plus ermm...so much to tell and so much to share...i've got loads of pictures...almost 1000++...i keep on drafting every now and then...alas, i ended up with no post at all...my passion dies down...sigh~~~

this will be an extra long post if i am going to blab all happenings for the past 2-3 weeks...hey...nobody really cares, so why should i bother...i'm just gonna write whatever that seems to cross my mind at this point of time okay?!!

so, let's get start with my family holiday to Hong Kong and Shenzhen...
it was a 5days 4nights trip...i went with Jemi + Abema & family (Kak Intan, 'Aina, Iman & Afif)...

Day 1 (07/06/09) - Welcome to Asia's world city: Hong Kong!

we arrived safely at HKIA and we boarded the shuttle bus to Ramada Hotel, Kowloon...

after settling down, we went searching for food and came across Indonesian tourists at Kowloon Mosque giving us direction...we got to eat Beryani Rice at Pakistan Mess Restaurant - more like an inapparent small dining room at Level 4 inside a building, where we need to have a lift access...

after having our meal, we took the Star Ferry and went across the river to the Central Pier terminal, Hong Kong Island...from there, we rode the public bus #15 to The Peak aka Victoria Peak...

we went up the Sky Terrace (roof of The Peak Tower) where we got to see the whole Hong Kong Island view...around 8pm, the Symphony of Lights laser show started...we got to see the backlights...hahaha...

descending from Sky Terrace, we dropped by Bubba Gump outlet for souvenirs...and then, we came across Madame Tussaud's Wax Museum...since there's not much time left, we just took pictures outside the museum (Bruce Lee and Datuk Michelle Yeoh's statues)...

at lower ground floor, we were approached to buy Hong Kong Disneyland's tickets at the promotional counter...no discount but we got Disneyland's luggage tags as gifts...and it saved us queuing time later...

we took a Peak Tram ride to the bottom of the hill and experienced 45 degrees slope journey...and to get to the Star Ferry terminal back again, we were lucky to ride an open-air double decker bus (we went to sit at the upper deck of course)...

at Kowloon terminal, we then took the efficient Hong Kong MTR back to our hotel...

Day 2 (08/06/09) - Magical Hong Kong Disneyland day...

we went there early in the morning...i'm soooo soooo happy happy happy...the weather was very fine and we get to cover all the lands (Fantasyland, Tomorrowland and Adventureland)...

we started with the Disneyland Railroad train ride from Main Street,USA to Fantasyland...at Fantasyland, we went to Fantasy Gardens and met Winnie the Pooh, Marie, Goofy, Pluto and Mickey Mouse...then, we had a spin at Mad Hatter Tea Cups party...we moved on to the "happiest cruise that ever sailed" = It's a Small World featuring childrens around the world babydolls singing and dancing to the famous tune...after that, i went to take a ride on Cinderella Carousel and Dumbo the Flying Elephant...then, we went to watch High School Musical:LIVE! show in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle...eventually we met Alice at Mad Hatter Tea Cups ride...we had our rest for a while before proceeding with a 3-D theater show at Mickey's Philharmagic Hall...after the show, we got to meet Donald Duck...we ended our Fantasyland tour with a musical "The Golden Mickeys" show at Storybook Theater Hall...

we ventured into Tomorrowland and straightaway went to the Space Traffic Control Center to interact with Experiment 626 aka Stitch in "Stitch Encounter"...after that, we took the interstellar Space Mountain roller coaster ride...we then rushed to witness "Mickey's Waterworks Parade" along the Disneyland streets...back at Tomorrowland, we went to drive the Autopia electric cars and went laser shooting at Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters...we got to meet Buzz Lightyear himself at the Starliner Diner...

the last land - Adventureland is where we had a Jungle River Cruise...and we also took the raft to Tarzan's Treehouse...after quite sometime at the tree house, we moved to watch the final show of "Festival of the Lion King" at the Theater in the Wild stadium arena...

we then went to do our Disneyland merchandise shopping and finally went to watch the grand finale of "Disney in the Stars" fireworks displays...we had Beryani Rice again that night...

Day 3 (09/06/09) - Filling arrival/departure forms, Immigration checks and Health Status Declaration day...hahahahaha...

it was the day we took the MTR to cross the border to Shenzhen...at Shenzhen, it was very difficult for us as there was very minimal communication scene...we had to write and use sign languages...there's no english at all...we reached Windows of the World but it was raining heavily...so, we went to Holiday Plaza across the street...Abema had his first shopping attempt...i think he bought a Tshirt there...and we had Ben & Jerry's ice cream treats...yeay...

back to Hong Kong, we went to Ma's Restaurant (a Muslim Chinese cuisine restaurant)...we had nice Soup Noodle, Spicy Szhechuan Noodle, Black Pepper Fried Noodle, Chinese Fried Rice, Pineapple Fried Rice, North - style Steamed Lamb Dumplings and Chicken Dumplings...ermmm...yummy...

after dinner, we went to look around for souvenirs at Temple Street Night Market...

Day 4 (10/06/09) - Commemorating history and $hopping day...

i woke up early with Jemi and we went out to the Golden Bauhinia Square to witness the raising flag ceremony, which took place in front of the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre at Wan Chai waterfront...

the ceremony at 750am lasted for merely 10 minutes...Jemi and me then went to get breakfast...we bought parathas and curry and rice and omelettes and boiled eggs for HK$125...the best thing was we paid all with our excess coins...

we went shopping at Hong Kong Times Square and Harbour City - Hong Kong's largest shopping mall...at 8pm, we were able to witness the Symphony of Lights laser show at the Harbour City's rooftop...this time, it was for real...ohh yaa...we had pizza for dinner at Ebeneezer's Kebabs & Pizzeria...

Day 5 (11/06/09) - back to home sweet home...yeay...

p/s: pictures can be viewed at my FB page...will upload some here...
