ohh well...today marks the 6 months since Jack's catastrophe...Ryan is 4 days old...heee...i safely drove Ryan together with Iman back to Klang yesterday morning...Iman balik kampung...

today will be a busy day - hanging curtains, cleaning windows, vacuuming carpets, dusting off decorative items, arranging flowers and many many more pre-syawal chores...but, i'm loving it...as the title indicates - syawal mode...heee....

ohh well...today i had a great day...actually, i was ecstatic ever since i got the sms of ryan's arrival yesterday evening right after ifthar...hehe...yeay...

so, today i went to settle ryan's agreement signatory process, paid up ryan's downpayment balance, discussing insurance and whatsnot...after that, i went to check on ryan...jengjengjeng...

i left ryan to the Honda crew to install the rear spoiler and side step garnish...will return on thursday for registration...yeay...yeay...

...pipe II ifthar gathering 1429H...

last thursday (18 sept 2008), i attended our annual pipe II ifthar gathering...this year, we had our reservations at the House of Sundanese Food, Level 4, KLCC...here are some pre-ifthar pictures:

my pipe II friends start to arrive at around 6.45pm...there were 11 of us + 1 friend of Pipah......from the left: me, Syaz, Yati, Hasfuan, Shaif, Fakri, Ewae & Amin...

we had 4 super yummy dishes served with both plain rice + special turmeric rice...apart from the signature dancing fish, we had our share on Sayur Lodeh, Sundanese roasted chicken and also Grilled Squid...

all in all, we had fun really...pipe II - ohh yaa!

...majlis berbuka puasa PETRONAS...

i went together with Pipah to the annual PETRONAS ifthar event...

these were our starters: dates, cheese cream pudding, 'tepung pelita' kueh, 'pulut panggang', fruits platter (watermelon, mango, kiwi,dragonfruit), 'lambuk' porridge, 'bandung' syrup, hot tea and mineral water...

and these were the dishes for the main course: ulam-ulaman, spicy fried prawns, sweet sour fish, percik roasted chicken, beef curry, fried cow lungs and stir fried vegetables...ohh well...one thing was missing = 'sambal belacan'...

my great PETRONAS ifthar dinner...ermmm...yummy!

...full-event weekends...

guess i am the final to update on this entry (after Azwa's, Yus's & Harni's)... anyhow, enjoy yaa...last saturday, No14 gang had our spring cleaning...now that i'm back, the feeling was like moving into a new home again...i still left 63% of my things in Klang...i even left my pillow & bolster...we then went to Jusco Alpha Angle where i bought my new feather pillow and a 1m bolster...tada... i also bought a new toxic basket for my laundry...

later in the evening, we went to pick up my niece & nephew and brought them along to Azwa's G-16-3A villa for ifthar gathering...had a lot of fun updating, sharing, caring & gossiping...the food were superb marvellous...thanks Azwa for hosting such a great event...we love you!

on early sunday, our day starts with a visit to Rina's resident to celebrate her newborn daughter, Fatin binti Azhar...hush...hush...so cute!

after spending about an hour there, we went back to our house to meet Syam & Aideil who plan to follow us to our next baby visit...Syam brought along her 4months old daughter too...Alia Syafiqah...very chubby...nice part is her standing hair...

here are the pictures of us at Fadz's house where we came to visit her second newborn daughter, Amna...everyone was wearing the theme colour for later celebration of Etai's belated happy birthday and Iza's upcoming birthday bash...

this is Aimi - Fadz's firstborn daughter...almost 2 years old now...had a fierce personality...haa...look at her sharp stare...

...sentuhan kasih...

last friday, i went chaperoning one of the sponsored child for PETRONAS Sentuhan Kasih programme...this was an annual CSR event organized by PETRONAS...however, it was my first experience being involved in it...

my department had sponsored 3 children and i was supposed to chaperone one of them...at the last minute, i was called to attend to another child since i've also had voluntarily nominate myself as the Bakti volunteers...with that, i offered Anna to accompany me (i gave her our dept's sponsored child while i took charge of the other child)...

that friday evening, i chaperoned Pn Nadiia Yazid's sponsored child from SJK (T) St Joseph, Sentul...her name was Nurul Aina...at first, she was very shy...we just exchanged smiles...i called her Aina - reminded me of my niece...

Aina is one of the only two India Muslims at her school of 170 students...she was the youngest of 3 siblings...she had one big brother (now in Form 4) and a big sister (Standard 6)...Aina is currently attending Standard 1...when she was being questioned about KLCC, she revealed that her father always bring the whole family to the KLCC park every sunday to swim as her mother will have the day off...sometimes, they went to swim at the club where her mother works as the cleaner...her father drives a truck...

all in all, i felt blessed...i really enjoyed myself caring for other people...the best part is 'makan' time...i had a taste of almost everything...what do you expect?!buffet style maa...the whole event ended at about 930pm...

ohh yaa...my fellow sohabat9600 were supposed to have our ifthar gathering as well on that day...the venue is KLCC...hahaha...i was thrilled to bump into them - Shera, Yana, Hana, Mizah, Anem, Cipah, Lizasue, Hani, Lina, Khaty...on my way back to the Putra LRT station...i'll make it up later,okay!love you darlings...
